Our D4 side had a successful debut Saturday falling to the Harlequins D4 side 27-17 in a competitive and spirited match. 11 new kids (Stags) and about 10 old boys began slowly but came together and played the Harlequins even in the second half, with both sides scoring 3 tries. 1 try scored by Chris assisted by Keith Slate, 1 try scored by Kyle Harpster, and 1 try scored by the Virgin Mac Dohm.
James Jimenez, Andy Goad, and Francisco Romero played exceptional well and showed their experience and skills throughout the game.
Pete McKeown and Ted Ehrman coached the side and a few other CSOBs helped out, watched and cheered. All involved had a great afternoon of rugby and gathered afterwards with the Harlequins to celebrate the day with with free food and refreshments.
