The CSOBs support “Old Boy” (35y/o+) rugby in Colorado.
CSOBs average one game a month, partnering with local teams’ Old Boys sides; to have local matches, travel to play against other OBs teams, and compete at tournaments such as the Aspen Ruggerfest, Vail Golden Oldies, Huntsman’s Festival, and Elizabeth Celtic Festival. We also travel to the Golden Oldies and other festivals around the globe.
Our focus is to keep playing and competing throughout life. When we host games, we focus on starting our most age gifted players and, after they leave the field, we continuing to play for as long as we can rotate the players in onto the field. When we travel, we enter teams to compete in age grade brackets (35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, etc).
If you’re a rugby player looking to step away from league rugby, a rugger wanting to get back into the fold, or an individual looking to pick up the sport (just not against guys in their 20s), we’re here to make sure to provide opportunity to play and compete for the rest of your life.
